If you have an iPad, you can use your old USB headset/mic combonation t with it.
Here is the trick:
Take the USB connector that comes in the iPad Photo Connector Kit:
Get your USB Headphone/Microphone like my Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000
Stir in your favorite app like Garageband or Skype
