Sometimes when teachers or administrators get iPads, they just get the iPad and they don’t get any kind of cover that comes with it.
Some covers can cost upwards of $50 or $60 depending on the type of cover that you want. If you’re just looking for an iPad cover to protect it from spills and things like that, here’s a really inexpensive way to protect your iPad until you go out a more viable solution:
Most schools hand out some kind of day planner hanging around and some of these day planners are pretty complicated. They can have calculators on the inside, they can have can have calendars and notepads, but they usually have one thing in common and that is a sleeve.
Look for a day planner that’s got a sleeve and that can be zipped up. That way you can put your iPad inside of it, zip it up, and it’s protected from the outside world until you need it.
Chances are you maybe you’ve been given one of these day planners in the past and just put it off to the side because you’re a digital person and use electronic calendars. Dig out that old day planner and use it as an iPad cover until you’re able to buy a better one for your iPad.
And that’s the cheap iPad trick of the day.
