Holt Think: Ed, Creativity, Tech, Administration

My buddy Ken Shelton took this picture a few days ago. I keep coming back to it, thinking a few things:
1. Should the teacher(s) that uses the equipment like this be reprimanded for educational malpractice?
2. What is it that keep teachers from using the equipment? Was there bad training? No training?
3. Time is not an issue here, as they had enough time to use the paper posters..
4. I wonder how the taxpayers in this district would react if they knew teachers were using a $1200 piece of equipment this way?
5. Are people so comfortable with the old ways that they completely ignore a new way of doing things?
Lots of questions. Few answers. Very disturbing.
